Hi-end replica of the iconic German rifle "Karabiner modell 1898 Kurz", from the Hong Kong brand ARES in a spring powered version, delivered in a stylish plastic case in the shape of a wooden box.
Its biggest advantages are the steel construction (95% of the weapon is made of stainless steel class 304 with QPQ surface treatment), wooden laminated stock and a modified spring powered system based on the ARES Amoeba system, but with improved direct feeding.

The model of this replica is based on pre-war and early-war design. This corresponds to a partially realistic stamping, but without military acceptance marks.
In addition, you will find other stampings on the weapon, in the form of four-digit serial numbers on various parts of the weapon.
The pre-war version also corresponds to the absence of mounting for the ZF41 riflescope, however after additional modifications, it is possible to mount a replica of the ZF39 riflescope, also offered by the ARES brand. Here it is necessary to drill precise holes and cut threads (the appropriate tool and tools of the ARES brand can be used). The rear and front sight are adjustable.
