BAS recommends:
The prototype of the weapon was developed in the 1960s in parallel with the legendary G3. This version featured the use of the later standard 5.56 NATO cartridge and a shortened barrel to just 211mm. The compact dimensions met the requirements of military and police special forces. It was adopted by police units in the USA, Great Britain or Sweden.
The design with a solid plastic stock offers a large space for the battery. The body is made of metal and gives the weapon a nice weight. Overall, the gun fits great in the hand and is ideal for CQB battles. The metal magazine holds 330 rounds.
