BAS recommends:
The M134 was developed in the 1960s for use on helicopters and vehicles. The main requirement was extraordinary firepower. This requirement was met by using the concept of a rotary Gatling machine gun powered by an electric motor. Over 10,000 of these weapons were deployed in the Vietnam War, either as rotating weapons or mounted in aircraft gunpods. The weapon is still used today as auxiliary helicopter armament, and it is not without interest that several pieces are used by the Czech Army as armament for Mi-171 helicopters.
The M134-A2 model replica from Classic Army is based on the classic design. The main advantage of this iconic and photogenic weapon is the high cadence. The weapon is largely made of metal. At first glance it catches your eye.
Each of the six barrelsis equipped with its own Hop-up. An electric motor powered by a battery is used to drive the rotation of the barrel. The function and power of the shot is provided by the hose connected CO2 or HPA. Thanks to this solution, the weapon can fire up to 50 bullets per second (3000 bullets per minute)
