The original weapon entered active service in 1994 as a personal defence weapon (PDW). It was developed according to NATO requirements for fighting in urban areas and buildings, with the possibility of using armor-piercing rounds to pierce body armor. The gun is also designed to be usable by both right-handed and left-handed users without modification.

This replica is modeled after the original version with an integrated red-dot on the metal optics group and backup sights on both sides. Side R.I.S. you can use the rail to mount a torchlight or other accessories. A 68-round mid-cap magazine allows you to use the full potential of the weapon. The weapon has the licensed marking of the manufacturer of the real weapon, Fabrique Nationale Herstal.
