BAS recommends:
From the very beginning of the Eastern Campaign in 1941, German troops faced Soviet soldiers armed with self-loading rifles. In medium-range engagements, the higher rate of fire provided Soviet soldiers with fire superiority over German soldiers armed primarily with repeating rifles and submachine guns. Even though self-loading rifles were used relatively few times, the Germans learned their lesson and decided to develop a weapon that would provide the soldiers with fire superiority at short and medium distances. Thus, the MKb42 (H) automatic carbine was created, which was supposed to complement the standard Kar98k rifles when firing single shots at medium distances and to replace the MP40 submachine guns with automatic fire at short distances. Despite Hitler's opposition, the development of the weapon was "smuggled" to the testing phase as a submachine gun under the name MP43. His resistance was finally broken by the fact that the weapon was less expensive to manufacture than the Kar98k. After the first combat deployment, it was additionally modified to the MP44 standard and later received the propaganda name "Sturmgewehr" - Assault Rifle. It is therefore the forefather of all today's assault rifles. It is worth noting that the device for shooting behind the corner "Krummlauf" or also the first infrared riflescope "Vampir" were developed for the Sturmgewehr. After the end of the war, captured guns entered the arsenal of a number of states, including Czechoslovakia. After decommissioning, Czechoslovak weapons were sent to the newly formed Syrian state, where you can surprisingly see them in the ongoing civil war.

A beautifully crafted airsoft replica of the Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifle. The metal body, like the original, is made by stamping. The stock is wooden and the battery compartment mimics the recoil spring compartment. Despite its slightly more archaic ergonomics, handling this weapon is almost as comfortable as modern weapons, so you won't get lost with it in any shootout. Therefore, it will be appreciated not only by fans of the Second World War, but also by ordinary players who are looking for an interesting gun.

The weapon comes with a metal high-capacity magazine for 450 rounds.
