ESS Land Ops protective glasses with very good qualities and exceptional protection against fogging especially designed for soldiers in ground operations. These glasses are the only type authorized by the US Army as a tactical protective glasses with RX insert. Glasses come with two glasses with ballistic protection clear and smoke gray. Glasses have a glass coating protection against scratches and fogging ClearZone FC. All protective glasses ESS meet NATO standards ballistic resistance cal.22 MIL-V-43511C.
All glasses used provide 100% protection against the UVA / UVB rays and ensure 100% transparency without distortion of the visual field. Thanks to ESS Modular Technology replacement glasses are easily interchangeable and not costly. Possibility to purchase glasses with protection against laser radiation Laser Protective Lenses (LPLs) in most wavelengths: 694nm and 1064nm. Clamping band width 40 mm allows rapid clamping and releasing glasses
Glasses come with very soft lining, which comes into contact with skin. This liner provides enhanced comfort and superior sweat absorption. Fully vented eyeglass frame ensures maximum spontaneous ventilation airflow and increases protection against fogging and filtration of floating debris. Glasses provide enhanced peripheral view. Goggles are usable in conjunction with conventional eyeglasses. Glasses are available with Speed Sleeve, which protects the glass when not in use while wearing a helmet and prevents unwanted reflections, which can allow unwanted user identification.
