BAS recommends:
The L85 was introduced into the British Army in 1985 as a result of many years of development of the Bullpup weapon. As is customary with modern weapons, a whole system of weapons was created with a common basis: an assault rifle, a support weapon, a carbine and a training rifle.
This weapon is a replica of a standard assault rifle designed for infantry and other members of the military. At first glance, it impresses with its appearance combining a black metal body with a green polymer stock. The carrying handle is removable and under it there is a mounting for optics.
This version is equipped with a Blow Back system.
