Low-profile bushings are made by CNC turning from high-quality steel class 19 313, 1.2842 (90MnCrV8) and tempered to a hardness of 58HRC. The high-quality material used and the resulting hardness predetermine the use of bearingsin high-load builds.

We designed the low profile mainly due to the trouble-free use in version II gearboxes, where the switch slide deflects when using conventional bearings. These low profile bushings do not touch the switch link at all and do not affect its function or the operation of the switch link.

Of course, low profile bushings can be used in any gearboxes with cylindrical holes for bearings with a diameter of 8mm.

We recommend lubricating the bushings with Vaseline.

The bearings are several hundredths millimeters (0.04 mm) larger than the diameter of the hole in the gearbox to prevent them from falling out spontaneously, and it is therefore necessary to "knock" the bearings into the gearbox. This can be done, for example, with a spring guide and, ideally, a copper hammer. The bearings can also be secured with a special threadlocking adhesive such as Loctite 243 or similar. This secures the bearings against falling out.

The package contains 6 pieces of bushings.
