BAS recommends:
The TAR-21 rifle was developed in Israel as a replacement for the M4 carbines. The Bullpup concept was chosen as more suitable for combat in urban areas and for mechanized infantry. The plastic body made it possible to reduce the weight of the weapon.
This replica from S&T Armament is inspired by the special forces version. It features a shortened barrel and a long RIS rail on the upper body. Folding metal sights are integrated in the rail. The gear box is equipped with a quick-change spring system. The battery compartment in the handguard is easily accessible. Magazines are standard AEG M4/M16.
