BAS recommends:
The Japanese Arisaka rifle originated as the Type 30 in 1897. The improved Type 97 was introduced into service in 1905 and served until the end of World War II. It became a typical weapon of Japanese soldiers throughout East Asia and the entire Pacific. Among the foreign users, we can mention Tsarist Russia, which bought a large amount in 1916 and used them in the civil war. Russian stocks then ended up in the hands of other countries in various ways. They were officially delivered, for example, to the Spanish Republicans or ended up in the hands of Finnish soldiers during the Winter War.
The replica is made by S&T Armament. The lock is made of aluminum and the stock is wooden. At the end you will find the original stamping including the chrysanthemum imperial emblem. The sight on the weapon is foldable with the possibility of setting salvo sights.
A very nicely crafted weapon is suitable for shooting and just displaying.
