BAS recommends:
Nicely modeled replica of the forefather of submachine guns, the German MP18. The MP18 was the first combat-usable submachine gun, deployed by Imperial Germany in 1918 as a trench gun. Despite some shortcomings, this branch of development of automatic weapons turned out to be the right one, and based on this design, more modern submachine guns appeared in the following years.
This replica is modeled after a later version with a box magazine and fire mode selector designated the MP28/II. The body and outer barrel of this replica are made of steel and there is also a very nice wooden stock. The controls with adjustable sights are of course metal, as is the magazine.
