The German MP40 submachine gun was introduced into the armament of the German army as a weapon for non-commissioned officers of the infantry team. In this role, she provided fire support to attacking troops. The weapon became one of the symbols of the German soldier during the Second World War and served as a trophy in other armies long after the war. This version is a modification of the MP40 with a wooden stock instead of a folding shoulder rest, it was produced from 1941-42. Originally the weapon was made for the Romanian army, in 1944 it was the main weapon of the Slovak State.
