BAS recommends:
The German MP40 submachine gun was introduced into the German army as a weapon for non-commissioned officers of the infantry team. In this role, she provided fire support to attacking troops. The weapon became one of the symbols of the German soldier during the Second World War and served in other armies long after the war.
This replica is based on a later model with a pressed sheet metal body and fins on the magazine well. Another feature of this version is a replica safety on the cocking lever. To improve user-friendliness, a safety is added to the grip and a fire selector is added to the body. The weapon is optically suitable for display on the wall as decoration.
