With its robust, high-quality aluminum body, the MG4 weighs in at about 4.2 kg, which is more than acceptable for a light machine gun. Additional weight can come from the separate magazine, which extends the internal 900-round magazine by an additional 4,000 rounds. However, it is important to note that using both magazines at the same time can damage the mechanism. Power is supplied by a LiPo battery housed in the folding stock.
